MAC Lipstick Collection | 2016

For those of you who follow me on any of my social media sites, you'll know that I'm a huge fan of MAC Cosmetics, and that their lipsticks have a special place in my heart.

I've been collecting their lipsticks for around 2 years now, and my stash is quite extensive. Understatement of the century. I daren't calculate the total I've actually spent on lipstick from MAC, but I justify my addiction on the basis that I hate nights out and I don't drink or smoke and y'know, I gotta spend my hard earned dollar one way or another *sassy girl emoji*

To date, I have 31 lipsticks and I'm not going to lie, I'll probably have a lot more by the end of the year. I'm a self confessed MAC addict, but their dreamy formulas and vanilla scent do not help! I'd recommend these lipsticks to anyone and everyone. They're just so creamy and pigmented and have such a vast range of finishes; there's something for everyone!

Aloha!

What better way to get back into the blogging spirit than a lovely little 'favorites' post, eh?

May has been quite a stressful month for me, and I'm sure those of you aged between 16-22 will also agree! Nobody likes exams, and I think we all have our little coping mechanisms to stop ourselves from plummeting into a wobbly meltdown filled with tears and tantrums. 

Unfortunately, my coping strategy has been online shopping. Sat an exam? Well done you, Han. One more highlighter to add to the collection! Memorized a new topic? FAB, I'm sure you deserve a new Kylie Jenner lip kit for that! Survived the day? Bravo! Here's a new blusher for your efforts. You see what I mean? My name's Hannah and I'm a shopaholic.

Hiatus, no more!

Greetings, old chums.

I know, I know... it's been a while and I'm sorry. I kinda underestimated the demands of my degree and fell off the blogging bandwagon. BUT... I'm back! Well, not officially, but kind of. I still have end of year exams but I finish on the 27th and I'm really hoping to re-launch my blog in the weeks that follow!

I really love writing and all I've been doing in the past year is writing about law related issues and as much as I enjoy my studies, it doesn't quite compare to chattering on about an exciting beauty discovery... am I right?

Beauty Do's and Don't's | 2015

I by no means consider myself an expert, but over the many years of experimenting with various beauty products and looks, I've learnt a thing or two about what works and what doesn't.

1. Eyeliner | Know when to stop. It's so easy to get carried away trying the perfect the feline flick, but it's easier still to soon find yourself sporting a panda eye. My tip is to start small. Don't go for anything too dramatic and tricky. Take small easy steps to achieve your desired look, this'll make it easier to copy to the other eye too.

Valentines Day Gift Guide for Him | 2015

Valentine's day is quickly approaching and whilst us girls may be easily pleased, finding the perfect gift for your boyfriend is never an easy task.

I will have spent the last 4 valentine's with the same guy, and I thought finding him a gift would be easier the longer we were together. I was wrong, so very wrong. Every year I've struggled and this year is no exception. 

January Favourites | 2015

Well I never, it's February already.

I've been waiting to write this blog post since the start of the year. I'd purchased so much beauty products at the beginning of the month I really could not wait to try them out and write about them. Although a few of the items that have made it onto the list are old favorites and holy grail products of mine, a handful of them are relatively new to my collection. 

Lusting Over the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette | 2015

Urban Decay have got to be the masters of eye shadow palette's. From the beautiful packaging to the flawless shades, they have got it down to a T. 

When it comes to eye shadow, I always play it safe. A neutral eye paired with winged liner and a red lip is my go-to look. To achieve this, I usually stick to my comfort zone and play around with the shades of the Naked 2 palette, however when I saw the colors included in the Naked 3 palette, I just had to get my hands on it!
